picking my dress

Hi ladies- just one quick question. I think I found my dress. But what have you heard about bridal couture of manhasset? I think one of the '05 brides mentioned a seamstress to go to and one to definetly avoid. any info?

I found the sales people to be 'pushy' and that's putting it nicely

except for when she wouldn't allow me to try on a $7K dress- what's the worse that would have happend- I would have went home and told my Dad I wanted it- trust me the man can't say no

they also made a big deal about my Mom not being there- she had passed away 3 months earlier

I also heard and have read in reviews about girls having problems with the alternations
