picking my dress
Hi ladies- just one quick question. I think I found my dress. But what have you heard about bridal couture of manhasset? I think one of the '05 brides mentioned a seamstress to go to and one to definetly avoid. any info?

Re: picking my dress
I have heard anything. Try posting this on the 05 Brides chat and put Manhasset Bridal in the subject line. You may get a quicker response.

Re: picking my dress
I found the sales people to be 'pushy' and that's putting it nicelyexcept for when she wouldn't allow me to try on a $7K dress- what's the worse that would have happend- I would have went home and told my Dad I wanted it- trust me the man can't say no
they also made a big deal about my Mom not being there- she had passed away 3 months earlier
I also heard and have read in reviews about girls having problems with the alternations

The girl who helped me there was very nice, but my overall experience was not that pleasant. I just didn't like their selling practices.Welcome New Vendors
