Need Advice: Is this a good deal for flowers?

I met with my first florist today, and since I have no comparison I don't know if this deal is really as good as it sounds, or if I can do better. Here it is:

bride's bouquets (25 red roses) : $100
BM bouquets (15-20 cream roses): $75 each
corsages (flowers TBD later): $25 each boutiniers (spelling?) (roses) : $6 each
20 low table centerpieces (25 red roses and baby's breath) $75 each
large sunburst to go above our wedding gazebo (75 red roses and baby's breath) $150

no delivery charge - no set up fee
free mixed rose petal for guets to throw after the ceremony

Total Price $1950 - no tax charged if we pay cash.

Please educate me.

Re: Need Advice: Is this a good deal for flowers?

My opinion...I think that's expensive....I have 2 maid of honors, 2 junior bridesmaid, 6 flower girls(headpieces for each), 2 best men, 1 ring bearer, 12 tables (low centerpieces) and all the qoutes have been from $1,000 - 1,750. They are including the rose petals for flower girls' baskets and candles on the table.

1,000 - roses

1,350 roses with 2 other types of flowers

1,750 - 6 types of flowers for me and 4 types for bridal party

HTH

edit for spelling

Re: Need Advice: Is this a good deal for flowers?

I think I would go to a few more places. The prices seem a little high. Good luck.

Re: Need Advice: Is this a good deal for flowers?

I think it's expensive, especially for roses. The corsages are at least $10 too much each, and the centerpieces are pricey for that many roses in each.

Re: Need Advice: Is this a good deal for flowers?

I think it's expensive, but I think flowers are priced way too high! They are pretty for the day of the wedding, but then they die!!!! And when they're dead........Not so pretty anymore!
