Cups sewn into dress..yay or nay?
I *hate* when there is a big gap at the top of a strapless dress..which is better..to have cups sewn in or to wear an undergarment of some sort? My dress is slightly princess cut and my boobs are not huge or anything. Going for a fitting next month so trying to figure this out! Also I want to be comfortable!

To me comfort = cups, not undergarment.

Good question. I had the cups sewn in for other occasions and they were comfortable. I am kind of torn for my wedding dress too.

If I wasn't so busty, I would get cups but I have no choice but I have to were a undergarment.

Re: Cups sewn into dress..yay or nay?
hmm..they look really natural, one of the things I was concerned about. Goldi, thanks for posting those pics! The lady at Burton's said I don't have to decide right away (she was telling me what to bring to my first fitting) b/c I'm small so she's not concerned!
So I guess the whole gaping at the top thing is a matter of fit not necessarily your undergarments?
I agree cups seem like they would be more comfortable than some of the get-ups I've seen!

My dress is also quite thin. There really is no undergarment that would not show through. Using cups was the best way to avoid lines.

I'm on the fence about this too....they told me to bring a bra, but they can also let me try it with the cups pinned in so I can see how it isWelcome New Vendors
