Maui/Kauai RCI GOLD CROWN?????

If all you travel experts could lend their expertise on a couple of things, I'd appreciate it!!!:

NUMBER 1 - areas within Kauai and Maui

In Maui, is Lahaina or Poipu Beach fun areas you would recommend? We want to relax, but we want to be near the featured attractions of the island.

In Kauai, is Princeville a fun area you would recommend? Same as above, we want to relax, but we want to be near the featured attractions of the island.

NUMBER 2 - PLACES TO STAY / RCI Timeshare Gold Crown?

In Maui, we heard that Embassy Vacation Resort, Kaanapali, Maui, is a nice place. Have you heard anything about it?

In Kauai, we heard either the Pahio at the Shearwater, Princeville, Kauai OR Embassy Vacation Resort, Poipu Beach, Kauai, are two good options.

Any feedback on the areas of these islands (and if these areas are not good, if you'd recommend others, that would be great) and resorts would be appreciated.

We are looking into RCI Timeshare Gold Crown Resorts. But, is this not good for a honeymoon? No maid service, room service, jacuzzi in room, car rental is not included??? Thanks! -------Dawn T.........Soon to be Dawn G.
