When is a single girl a Miss and when is she a Ms.?

good question....I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but if it does, does it have anything to do with age???

Miss is usually for a young women or girl and Ms. is more used for a older women or divorced.

I think older than 18 for the shift...probably like 25 or so.....but I could be wrong

I think if you are over 16, then you should be addressed as Ms.
