Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

I am inquiring for a friend who is having her wedding at the Crescent Beach Club this summer!!!

Which hotel are you blocking rooms in for your guests? She would really like something with a hotel bar in it!

Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

Our guests stayed at the East Norwich Inn. I'm not sure if it has a bar, but it's only 10 mins from the Crescent.

Re: Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

I'm having the same problem - I was thinking the East Norwich Inn b/c it's close, but there is no bar and you can only block 20 rooms. There is a restaurant next door though.... Anyone with ideas let me know too! TIA

We blocked more than 20 rooms. We kept adding to our list b/c more people decided to stay over than we expected.

Re: Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

Okay... Crescent Brides. I think I found the BEST hotel for us! I absolutely fell in love with the place! It's the Marriott Residence Inn in Plainview, off Old Country Road, right off the Seaford Oyster Bay. I booked 25 rooms for two nights of my wedding weekend, and even plan on having my rehearsal dinner at their FABULOUS restaurant, Baldino's. The hotel has a bar, breakfast restaurant (and your guests' breakfasts are included in the rate, so you can have the 'morning after-party!'). The bar has a pool table and a beautiful wall to ceiling aquarium (and you can arrange a hot buffet for post-wedding munchies). The hotel has a workout room, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, arcade, ping pong table, air hockey table... the works! The only thing they lack is shuttle service, which I'm trying to inexpensively arrange. It's probably about a 15-20 minute ride from the Crescent. Not many options for us Crescent brides, but I think it's the best. I did check out the East Norwich Inn, too... not crazy about the rooms and it didn't have a bar, which was tops on my priority list.

Re: Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

That does sound like a good idea.... Buses and shuttles are so much so I'm still undecided on what to do!!! The CBC is a great place to have a wedding - why can't they have a hotel anywhere near it?? How much were the rooms around?

Re: Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

I was quoted 139... not bad! (compared to the Fox Hollow Inn, anyway!)

Re: Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

yeah... that is cheaper than their regular rate. It was only 15 more than the ENI, which I wasn't thrilled with. I REALLY wanted a bar to go to after the wedding, and the Marriott has it (the one in Syosset DOESN'T have the bar or restaurant). And Fox Hollow Inn is about 60 MORE each night! Yikes! My guests would kill me!

Re: Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

I booked a block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn in Syosset. It is only 7 miles from the Crescent which is about a 15 minute drive. I checked out The Tides and the East Norwich Inn but I was not happy with them.

FYI, the Fairfield Inn in Syosset doesn't have a bar, which was high on my priority list. So, that's why we went with the Marriott Residence Inn in Plainview. I wasn't happy with the Tides or East Norwich Inn either.

Re: Crescent Beach Club Brides - Which Hotel??

Oh wow a Bar! That’s a great idea.
I didn’t even think of it!!!
Thanks for the recommendation.

Also speaking of bars, CBC said they can leave the bar open late for weddings. It normally closes at 1:00am. Not sure if that interests anyone but I thought I would throw it out there.

Also I priced out a bunch of shuttles and buses before I booked with All Star but if anyone would like the information let me know :)
