Hi Ladies
I am designing my own save the date notes and would like some input on the wording. this is what i was planning on writing

SAVE THE DATE

MAUREEN AND MICHAEL
ARE GETTING MARRIED
SATURDAY OCTOBER 28, 2006
CARLE PLACE, NY

FORMAL INVITATION TO FOLLOW

do i need to put the place?

I think that's fine. We're almost twins! I'm getting married in Carle Place and having my reception at WCC too-just a month before you! Whoo hoo.

No you don't have to put the place!

As long as people know the town the wedding is in so they could make whatever arrangements necessary to get there (airfare and whatnot).

Also, it leaves them in suspense!
