Re: Westhampton Beach/Atlantica Brides I need your HELP!

when my sister got married at Gurney's, the banquet manager gave us the name of a place that did one night minimums in the area, so maybe check with the staff at Atlantica for other hotels that are nearby.

ETA: I just reread your post...did the Bride book a block of rooms anywhere?

Atlantica has a section on thier website with accomodations, you could check with them individually....

link to atlantica

google it- there are websites listing hotels in the area- good luck- it's going to be hard to find one that will let you stay 1 night on that weekend

Re: Westhampton Beach/Atlantica Brides I need your HELP!

There is the westhampton motel right on montauk highway in westhampton. It is nothing fantastic but it is reasonable and pretty close to atlantica

ETA: You may have a hard time finding a place without a 2 night min. at that time of year. There is also a best western and a new holiday inn in riverhead. They are a little bit further away (~20 min) but probably dont have a min stay.

Gurney's is NO where near atantica- it's in montauk

I know Gurney's is in Montauk-my point was that the people working at Atlantica must run into this one night minimum thing all the time, and probably have a place they refer people to

Re: Westhampton Beach/Atlantica Brides I need your HELP!

The summer season starts memorial day weekend - unfortunately that means prices really go up. Would you mind staying a little further away from Atlantica to stay in a less expensive hotel?

Re: Westhampton Beach/Atlantica Brides I need your HELP!

The Best Western and the Holiday Inn Express in Riverhead are the cheapest and the only places I found without a 2 night minimum.

The rate for July 4th weekend is 189 per night. A lot of our friends are sharing rooms with 2 double beds.

Thank you so much! I think we're going to go with Best Western!

the best western east end is only a little over 12 miles from atlantica, that's not too bad.

Re: Westhampton Beach/Atlantica Brides I need your HELP!

Ok I just checked it out and it is too far...I found a little B&B on Main Street in Westhampton Beach...its like 10 minutes away! Although its a 3 night min...the guy there advised me to call in May and he'll try to do something for us...in all honesty, I could pay the $500 for two nights but there is no reason to...I'd rather give the extra $$ to my BM.
