That is expensive....but it depends on a lot of factors
-cost of trials (if trials are free or almost nothing) then the total cost could balance out
-is it special make up? for really really sensitive skin or something?

Depends on the makeup/hair person.

For the day of it's $150 for each - total of $300

That being said, it's just about right.

I personally don't think so, I am spending $250 on makeup. My hair will be cheaper.
If you can afford it, and loved the way your trials came out, go for it.

That's a lot, but not a lot more than most people pay.
Personally, I am going to the salaon down the street from my parents house.
$65 for mu, $80 for hair.
ETA: My wedding is at 3PM, so I don't really think we need someone to travel to the house, we will have some time. Not a LOT, but some.

I think it's fine - I am spending more than that. it's your wedding day, and if hair and makeup is important to you, then go for it. the peace of mind of having hair and makeup you love on your big day is worth the $$, in my opinion.

It seems like a lot to me...but then I think about the fact that I spent about $115 for my hair for a friends wedding last year. It is still nuts though that they can charge that much!

thats what i'm paying

it's alot more than i wanted to spend and i really did shop around but couldn't find anything for less unless i wanted to get rid of the airbrush makeup i desperately need or get ready in the salon which i don't have time for.

Close poll! I think the makeup is right since that is what I am paying for day of but my hair cause I am going to a salon is not that much. I got quotes for up to 150 for hair though. Humm!
