Day Wedding Brides - After?

What are you planning to do after the wedding? There is alot of time after since the wedding ends at 5:30PM - what are your plans after?

My friends wedding was ove around 4, and she had a 'after party' at some bar!!

We're having a big party the night before the wedding so folks might be too tired to do anything after the wedding. But for the youngins, we'll probably head to a nice lounge for a few hours.

My parents had family at their house and DH and I went to a bar in the Hilton where a bunch of younger guests gathered (with or without rooms).

I am planning on having people meet up at the bar in the hotel that evening, but everyone is telling me I will be too tired!!! I don't want the day to end at 5:30 though! It would be so nice to be able to relax and celebrate with my closest friends after the day is done.

We were absolutely exhausted and we were leaving for our HM the next day so we just checked into the hotel.

We were exhausted too! I was up at 4:15 am being pulled in a million different directions all day. I wanted to be alone with my Husband and crash!

We had an after party at the bar at the Hilton where a lot of our local friends and all my OOT family were able to go.

We had told a lot of people about it beforehand, so people brought a change of clothes with them and we ended up staying there most of the night. It was a great way to end the day with our close friends and family.
I of course did not take my dress off!

If anything maybe we'll go back to my parents house - but I'm thinking I'll be really tired. Or maybe the BM will have a get together at his house. I haven't even thought about this really.

My mother held a party with alot of food and liquor for both DH and our families and friends it was so much fun and excitement.

Probably hanging out at the hotel bar or a nearby bar in the Ronkonkoma area. Any suggestions? FH thinks that we don't need to PLAN anything and that people will naturally know where to go and what to do after the wedding. I tend to disagree because 75% of our guests are from OOT.

ETA: FH and I didnt want to go to a bar somewhere. I just felt like it was something I did in college, and I didnt really want to be all in my dress and heading out to a bar. So, the hotel bar will be it for a small while and then FH and I will be alone after that
