good school districts in suffolk county?
What are some of the best districts in Suffolk? I feel like I am overlooking some. Are there any that stand out as being REALLY bad ones?

Re: good school districts in suffolk county?
Most districts are good - you will find pros and cons about each district - good teachers and not so good are in all districts. As a teacher, I would say that alot depends on what you personally value for your child.
Just be very involved in your child's education.
Some districts have a reputation for being great, but there is alot more than meets the eye that goes on behind the scenes.

Re: good school districts in suffolk county?
3 Village, smithtown, shoram-wading river are all considered good districts...but as it was said above, each district has its goods and bads...
some districts that are known to have some serious gang problems right now are riverhead and longwood

Commack and Half Hollow Hills are probably the best in Suffolk, according to my sister who is a teacher.
