NWR: Heres the other project Im working on for the baby. Maybe you can help?

When my son Gabe was born I painted a farm mural on his walls in his room. Ill attach some pics. Now that Im pregnant again, its time to make a new one. I decided to make the room an 'under the sea' room. I'm going to use some fish from Disneys Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo. If there are any cartoon fish pics that you know of please post them here or post the link so I can print it out and paint it on the wall!! TIA!

I don't have any fish picts. but I just wanted to tell you how beautiful that room is...I wish I could paint...Great Job!!

Amy, you did Gabe's room? I had no idea!! Seriously, you did that? Girl you are so talented!!

Anyway, Little Mermaid is my favorite movie ever...I love that theme for a baby (and that will also be mine, when my time comes! ). Hope these help:

WOW you brought up a great point!! The ceiling is already a blue... Should I leave it the color it is now and try to match the walls to it or completely start over with that too.. That was seriously the hardest, looking up and painting LOL

OK, I'll try to find outlines...but you're still REALLY talented because I could never color like that!!

If the ceiling is already a shade of blue I would leave it. The ocean isn't onoe shade of blue, it's a few mixed together, so the walls don't have to match perfectly...it'll be more realistic that way.

I am so excited for you...that is going to be one amazing room!!

Are you sad about leaving Gabe's room behind when you move? Will you do his in the new place? You should do this and charge, seriously!!

Actually my mom has an apartment attached to her house and this is where we lived when Gabe was young, then we moved out and now we are moving back. So hes ending up in the same room, and sharing with a new baby.. after the baby gets a bit older'

Im looking for bedding for him and the new baby that will match somewhat.. I may just get a blue.. Im also buying Gabe a really nice captains bed. Im still not sure what finish to have it done in though.

If you find any beddin glet me know.. There was a specific one I used to love a few months back and now I cant find it!

since you are looking for real simple drawings, you can try buying a Finding Nemo or Little Mermaid coloring book, and project those onto the wall, that way all the images are already in outline form!

Thats a good idea. Im looking for mainly all different kinds of fish now.. I have all the under the sea characters already.

I am so dreading this.. Anyone want to paint in the lines?

You are soooo talented , that is such a creative idea.. the under the sea theme reminds of that scene in the movie MERMAIDS (the one with Cher) when they painted the girls room under water

As for bedding, I have no idea, but my best friend (she has 2 kids) lives on and swears by eBay. Apparently, you can find anything there. Good luck!

My best friend has a boy (he was one of my RB's) and then a girl (the chubby baby in my review) and she said that they love each other so much...even while so little. Having a sibling is so wonderful...you're doing a great thing.

O.k. my mom & I were just talking.... Were thinking of doing an outer space room instead. He is totally into it and he will learn from it and it will be SOOOOOOO much easier!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good thing I didnt start yet..
