Haha I ADORE that 'alert' so much! On a similar note, I am obsessed with the 'real' US postal service mail too and I have been known to check for special items even before I know it's mail time lol. Isn't that silly?

A friend once told me about something that is remotely controlled that will let you KNOW when your mail has arrived in the mailbox, by sounding a unique doorbell. Now that's too much, even for me haha!

That's funny that you said that! My parents installed a doorbell in their mailbox that goes off when the mailman opens the mailbox. Cute enough, but sometimes it gets stuck, especially if the mailman doesn't close the mailbox fully. So it will go on and on until someone goes out and slams it shut!

Oh no, that sounds like it's right out of a sitcom like Seinfeld or something hehe.
