Vanderbilt Mansion in Centerport

I just booked my wedding there for June 2007. Is anyone getting married there as well?

I was at a wedding there several years back and it was beautiful!!!!! The grounds and water view were to die for! Who does the catering? The vanderbilt?

Great. I don't know anyone who has been to a wedding there. You bring in your own caterer. I booked Lovin Oven.

That is my dream location but I believe out of my budget. Did you rent the tent? How many people w ill you be having?

Yes it was $7,500 for the location and the tent. I wanted 200 but there is no way we can afford it. I think it will be more like 150 people.

If you love it that much you could have a small wedding and have a buffet and just go very lo end on everything else. The caterers are very flexible with the cost.

I would love to but we have very large families. Our guest list is already up to 183 without my parents guests. So we have ruled out the vanderbilt. You will have such a gorgeous wedding. I always said If I had my wedding there my colors would be lavendar and yellow and the girls would carry parasols. Best of luck planning your wedding and you have to post pics so I can live vicariously through you lol
