Not a happy camper at Macy's this weekend :-(

Okay... so I made an appointment to go in and re-try my dress (just to make sure it's really THE ONE). I had my girls with me to give me their opinion (including BM's from out of state) and to get fit for their BM dresses. I got my hair done ($60) to get the full 'day of' effect to give me peace of mind that this was the dress. (the first time I tried it on, my hair desperately needed highlights - MAJOR ROOTS - and the make up wasn't on). So, I was all made up... I go in all excited to see it again and see what my girls thought... and the dress I went in for was shipped to another store! I was SO upset!!! What a waste of time (for me and my girls) and $$. And now, I STILL don't have the peace of mind that it's the dress for me!

. Maybe it was stress, but I was crying in Macy's! (I felt so stupid). I REALLY wanted to see the dress again to get the full effect. Well, now they're getting it back for me to re-try in 2 weeks, but that means I have to get the hair done again, and I won't have my girls with me to give me their opinions. ugh... just had to vent.

That's terrible. I went to Macys Bridal Salon in Manhasset and stood there for 20 minutes before they even offered to help me. I KNOW how you feel. Everything will be OK.

Thank you... and thanks for letting me vent. I'm don't feel as silly now that I actually cried. My FH's sister must have thought I was crazy and spoiled for crying... I was just so AGGRAVATED! My hair was done, for God's sake! lol

Since all the wedding planning started, I get pretty emotional over stuff, some silly, some not so silly. I think it's my way of releasing all the stress. Ofcourse your experience was not so silly. I would have been upset too and then went to another Macy's!! Those Jerks!!!

I feel your pain, I did NOT have a good experience at Macy's at all! one of the women in there was a TOTAL Biatch... i told them i wanted my dress style numbers so I can find it else where.. boy did they then go out of my way help me!!! But by then I already had a bad taste in my mouth! If you had an appointment they shouldn't have shipped out that sample dress! That is annoying!
