BHB X-Post: Bridal Shower Help!!

I am the MOH in my best friend's wedding this November and I am working with her mom to plan her bridal shower. However, neither her mom nor I have ever planned a shower before and we don't know where to start! Her mom has made it very clear that she wants to pay for the shower, but Who picks the invitations? Who addresses them? Who picks the favors? Who plans the game(s)? And what are the other things that I haven't thought of?

Hey Sam, whenever I've been in a bridal party we always got together w/ all the girls and planned it - and the divided up the tasks so 1 or 2 girls would do the invites, someone else would do the favors, 1 or 2 would be in charge of games, etc.
