Wedding dress shopping
Anything specific that I should be prepared for? The best under-things to wear, etc?
Thanks!

My advice...
Try on lots of different styles (even if you don't think it will look good on you). I've heard lots of ladies say they ended up getting a style of dress they would have never dreamed of wearing.

I agree. My Best friend didn't want to try on the dress she ultimately got. The attendant told her to try it. They know what looks good on people. And another friend hates strapless, but lo and behold, she got a strapless gown.
Bring a strapless bra if you have one. They can be worn with almost any type of dress.

Re: Wedding dress shopping
Have fun with it and try as many on as possible... something you think you will hate could be the dress you love once it is on... try it with a veil just for fun! take pics if they let you, some do some dont

I would bring a strapless bra and make sure to wear panties that you don't mind being seen in since the attendant will be helping you in and out of the dresses.

i totally agree - i didnt even want to try my dress on b/c it wasnt at all what i wanted but i fell in love - i adore my dress!!
also, wear stockings, underwear your not embarrassed strangers seeing, and shoes with the approximate height you will be wearing.

I defintely agree about trying on the different styles! The only think I brought with me was a strapless bra. I also shaved my legs and wore decent panties. I don't think the shoes really matter unless you are ordering a dress that needs a hem-to-hollow measurement.
