I really need ideas for a destination bachelorette party

Among my sisters and cousins we have started a tradition of going away for bachelorette parties. For my sis we went to Vegas and for my cousin we went to New Orleans.

Now it's my turn. I have been thinking South Beach. Now, I'm hearing it's not all that it's hyped up to be. Now, we are considering all-inclusives in Cancun, Caribbean, Puerto Vallarta (sp?), Dominican Republic. I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

I don't mind the beachy resorts, but I also like the cities - I loved New Orleans. I'm trying to be as economical as possible. My cousin has a friend who works with Club Med and can maybe get us a great discount.

I am very open to all types of suggestions. I loved the Southwest and was considering a spa weekend maybe somewhere down there.

What about a cruise? They have 2, 3 and 4 day cruises from FL or even from NY that are tons of fun and all the food is included in the price.

I agree...Miami....there you have the beach, the strip with lots of restaurants and lots of clubs and bars in the area.

Miami or Cancun...but Cancun is definitely the cheaper of the 2, however Miami is cheaper airfare wise.

I found Miami prices at clubs and restaurants to be comparable to upscale Manhattan.

I'm so stressed today and the spa weekend is beginning to sound better and better. Does anyone know of any all-inclusive packages? A spa near a city would also be great to have some nightlife!

when will it be? how about one of the spas in arizona - like sedona, scottsdale... how about palm springs or la jolla?

We're going to Key Biscayne in Florida for mine. It's 3 miles outside of South Beach, over a bridge on an island. The resort we're staying at is beautiful and has a huge spa. There is some night life and we can take cabs to South Beach if we want.

I'm heading over to Amsterdam for mine.

Vegas is probably the most popular choice. You can also do a spa getaway.

Newport is an aweome time. What about a booze cruise in Mexico. South Beach was really fun when I was there last year.

Orlando has a fun party scence and there is Disney to hang out at.

I wanted to go to South Beach too, and if we can afford it, we will! My friends been there twice and loved it. Lots of clubs and restaurants, and of course the beach. My other friend went to Boston for her cousins bachlorette, and they had a blast there. Also a lot of clubs, bars, and restuarants. If you want all-inclusive, and to get out of the US, try Beaches in Jamaica, its the least expensive out of the Caribbean. Montego Bay has a lot of younger people, and the Beaches resorts are incredible. My travel agent is Sandals/Beaches certified if you want her # FM me!

i was thinking along those lines as well. I've actually been to Boulder, CO and loved it there. So I've been thinking of that or Arizona like you mentioned. We are still trying to nail down a date. Most likely in June or July

I know a lot of you are recommending Florida as well which would probably be good to as far as money and travel time. I have a couple of girls flying in from California too. The only thing is I will be in Longboat Key in May, so I have been thinking of doing something different. I am still planning to keep it as a possibility
