One week house rental in Port Jeff area?

My parents are in Maryland and want to rent a house for the wedding week. Anyone know how to find a rental house in the Port Jeff area? Everything I'm finding is out on the North Fork, Hamptons, or Fire Island...

I think you are going to have a tough time renting a house for a week there- it's not that kind of town- like the hamptons or FI

there are some hotels like Danfords or the holiday inn

try craigs list. it is going to be hard thing to do. i have a OOT guests and they want to rent a house too, but it has almost been impossible to find something.

I found THIS LISTING on VRBO.com (vacation rentals by owner) - its in Old Field, but that's the closet I can find!

There's one on the corner of Shore road and Old Post in port jeff that I pass often... there was a sign that it was for vacation rental, I'll drive by it tomorrow and see if the sign is still there. If it is I'm FM yo uthe number.

My fiance and I did an extensive search and couldn't find anything except out east. We enquired about the one in Old Field too and got no response. If you hear of something can you FM me? We're not getting married the same week so I wouldn't be stealing your house. Thanks

I live in the area and in the mail on a weekly basis we get a yankee trader for our area and the three village area. Try contacting the company that puts out the yankee trader and subsequent mailings (maybe the web site will have it too) for listings. As the summer draws nearer, more homes/summer places/etc get listed.
