? re: health insurance

Does anyone have GHI for health insurance.
I pay for my own health insurance and need to find a new company that is less expensive than what i have now which is Aetna for almost $600/month!
GHI is giving the lowest quote but i was wondering if anyone has any feed back on them.
Do most doctors accept GHI? Did you have trouble finding doctors?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you

Re: ? re: health insurance

i used to have ghi when I was under my parents- and my parents still have it. I never hear my mom complain about it- but I dont think a ton of doctors take it- but if the doctors that you usually go to take it, and its the lowest price- go for it!

Re: ? re: health insurance

I found that a lot of doctors did take GHI but they pay SOOO little so it's decreasing. They also have insane requirements about physical therapy and how mnay tests you need to take, what you can do on the same day, etc..you have to pre-certify for chiropractic I think. it's kind of a big pain in the butt. They also only give 20 minutes for a PT session where other companies give 40

(I've had just about every insurance! So far United has been the best and my doctor agrees)
