Ok, REALLY dumb question(s)...
i know nothing about wedding dresses except what styles i like so...what do you put under the dress to make it poofy? I think it's a hoop or some kind of big slip right? what is it usually made of? and do i get it before my fittings or wait until my dress comes in? i feel so ungirly asking such a dumb question...TIA!

No question is ever dumb...and since this is all new to us, how are we to know the answer?
You could have a plain slip or a hoop slip under your dress...they're mostly made of crinoline. Bridal salons (and eBay) carry them.

I would wait for your dress so that you could determine the fullness. They're pretty easy to get.
