Shoe stores
Where did everyone get their shoes? I'm looking for shoes at a decent price and I think I need to get them soon so I can order my dress hollow to hem.

Re: Shoe stores
craft shoes in commack on jericho. it's an old school type of place with shoes everywhere...lots of clutter. they have a big selection of wedding shoes and i think they're all dyeable. some of the people that work there are a little old and crabby, but otherwise, it's fine. i also had a hem to hollow thing with my dress and i got my shoes there. i think i paid $45 and they're comfortable. good luck!

oh my goodness... Craft Shoes! I got my Bat Mitzvah shoes there! (dyables, died the perfect forest green to match my dress... oh how I loved having green shoes to match my dress)
I haven't been there in ages. There was this woman who worked there who had a lot of very unfortunate facial hair. I wonder if she's still there.

lol. i got my shoes at craft shoes, and the woman with the facial hair (i won't mention her name) helped me find my shoes and my bm's shoes. she was very nice. dyeing cost $6, not bad at all. our shoes were $45. the second time i went there with my fmil and we had a horrible experience with a VERY CRABBY old man. crabby and pushy was he. he had gross bandaids that kept falling off and on the floor near my fmil while she tried on shoes. ugh. i would still recommend them though for their selection and prices, but not for their customer service! ~lacey

Re: Shoe stores
That place in commack sounds crazy but if their prices are good I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to check them out. Thanks!

I got mine at Payless from their wedding shoe collection. They are the most comfortable shoes ever, and I had a pair in black, but I wanted a white pair for the wedding.
