NWR.. Well, actually, sort of. This thread is about hair, and my disasterous cut.

I had a gift certificate at this particular salon, so I went there for a haircut instead of the usual girl i go to. BIG MISTAKE
The stupid fool that cut my hair Sat did a HORRIBLE chop job. I mean REALLY BAD. I wanted it one length in the back and the front angled. Neurotic scissor happy idiot cut my hair in the front TOO short and its ONE layer (when I specifically said angled) . It literally looks like I took the front portion of my hair & just chopped a chunk off myself. So I cry now everytime I look in the mirror. It looks like a bad chop job. I feel like going back to the salon & chopping all her fingers off. Im so mad, I swear.

Anyway.. my question is...

Does anyone have any secrets for quick hair growth??? I know I have 7 months until my wedding, but, I have a gazillion events to attend before then and the last thing I want is hair that looks like Im marrying Edward Scissorhands

Help me.. please. This girls hair cutting license should be revoked.. She did such a horrible job!!! BTW. Going back to the salon to get it fixed is NOT and option. I dont want my hair cut anymore then it is.

Sorry for the long vent.

But thanks for listening!

I'm so sorry Janie. why not go to your regular girl...beg forgiveness for straying, and ask her for her help....at least you trust her to do the right thing...

and while it's obvious you will not be giving the other salon your head anytime soon, go back and GET SOME MONEY back or something...even if it's a mess of free hair products...they should PAY for that!

and just so you know, you are beautiful....you have a lovely face, and it would take A LOT of chopping to ever take away from that! Pretty girl!

I think I can help

I too was a chopping victim 2 weeks ago

the next day I was reading Harpers or elle- it doesn't matter- except there was a little blurb about these pills models take for make there hair grow and be full and strong

they are Viviscal fish oil supplements

google it- I bought them on-line $50 for 60 pills, no shipping and I got them in 2 days

so far me hair seems to have grown a little and it doesn't fall out as much

ugghhh - thats horrible!! i agree with jessica - go back to your regular stylist and have her fix what she can - and then just let your hair grow.

i dont know of anything you can eat or take - but using conditioning treatments regularly really helps your hair stay healthy and strong and the healthier it is the longer it will grow.

good luck

Janie, I'm so sorry that happened - you should get your $ back!!

I've heard that prenatal vitamins really promote hair growth.
