My rehearsal was at 7pm and we told the restaurant we'd be there btwn 7:30 and 7:45 which worked out great. The rehearsal was pretty fastETA: the church and restaurant are less than 5 miles apart

Re: Need your help ladies...RD question especially if you got married at a church
My RD was not close to church, so we made dinner for 8:00, my rehearsal was 6:15 and over by 6:45. My church was Smithtown and dinner was at 105 Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor.

Re: Need your help ladies...RD question especially if you got married at a church
My rehearsal was a Friday night - the night before the wedding. We had some out of town guests so it couldnt be any other night. The rehearsal was at 6pm and the dinner was at 7pm. The restaurant was around the corner from the church. It worked out perfectly.Rehearsals go by pretty quickly but generally they take some time getting started. People are late and in my case - I was busy introducing a lot of people to each other. I think we started 15 minutes late.

Our rehearsal was at 6, RD started at 7:30 (Friday night). We got to the RD a little early but that was the earliest we could have it at our restaurant...

Re: Need your help ladies...RD question especially if you got married at a church
Mine was Friday, the night before the wedding but if I could do over I would do the Friday the week before; it was a little hectic and I think I'd have enjoyed the RD more if I wasn't so nervous! I wasn't that relaxed....

I'm really not sure but this sounds like what we did too. It was the Saturday before our wedding.
