Hi Ladies,

I have to plan two bridal showers in the next few months. Can you ladies recommend a nice restaurant in Brooklyn, I would even do Long Island if I had too.

I am from Brooklyn. There are a million nice restaurants in bklyn. It all depends on what you like, how many people and $$$$.

The price is not an issue really, but we plan to invite about 50 people to each. I would prefer Italian food

Where in bkyln are you looking for? In Sheepshead Bay 'Lundys is very good' and in Bay Ridge 101's is excellent

Hello. Pazzo in Bay Ridge is also an excellent restaurant in Bay Ridge. They serve Italian food and have a pretty large selection. It is actually located right across the street from 101 restaurant on 4th Ave. and 100th Street.

I had been to both these places in one of my Brooklyn visits and found it to be extremely good....

Mama Raos on 11th Ave (in the 60's) is excellent. Rex Manor is also great. I am having my daughter's shower at the Rex. Salad, Pasta & choice of 4 entrees (we are having Veal Parm, Chicken Sorrentino, Shrimp Scampi & Salmon). It also includes potato croquette & escarole. The cake is included (comes from Savarese Bakery). Wine & Soda included. $35 per person.

Gino's in Bay Ridge has fabulous food & good service, BUT when we had my daughter's engagement party the food wasn't very good and the service sucked. They do parties all of the time, but apparently can't handle it.
