The Wedding Center in Commack??

Does anyone know anything about this place?? I received one of their brochures which has a listing of packages - there is one for around $5200 which includes photography, video, DJ, limos, groom's tux, wedding bands and bouquets??? This price sounds amazing, but I don't know how good the quality is for this place. Anyone used them?? What do you think??? Thanks!!

I would do a search on them. I went there once and IMO it wasn't the greatest exp. There are mixed opinions.

Its helens bridal center in commack - I have never used them or know of anyone who has but i am going there to look at my placecard holders... They have them cheaper there...

I have been there its not all that...go take a look but you will see you DONT want the package you will want to have some freedom

I didn't check out their favors, but it seems like they offer everything from invitations to wedding gowns. I will call them today to try to learn more about what they offer. As I said, the pricing seems unbelievable, but I always feel like there is a catch when that's the case!!

Any other feedback on this place would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have the same questions you do. I actually got my dress there and my bridesmaids found the dress we like for $40 cheaper. The whole package thing sounds great, but I'm nervous about it - How could they be so inexpensive?? Please let me know if you hear anything and I'll do the same.

I went there with a friend a few years ago. she bought her wedding dress there and our BM dresses. The prices were great but the alterations on the BM dresses were AWFUL. (her wedding gown came out fine). I'm thinking of going there to look for my gown and dresses and maybe rent the tuxes. I wouldn't do the packages because I don't like the photo samples I've seen, just not my taste. I thought that the staff was nice and dress prices are amazing. My cousin also went there, but then took the dress quote to Macy's and they beat it! HTH.

I believe Helen's and the Commack Wedding Center are 2 entirely different stores! They are both in Commack but about a mile apart (in more ways than one!

The wedding center in commack ... yick. I don't care what deal they gave me I would NEVER use them.

And Helen's in commack was great - totally different experience.
