repost from HM: Stay at Mama's fish house in Maui?

We have booked 7 nights in Maui and 5 nights in Kaui. In Maui we were thinking about staying 5 nights at the Sheraton and 2 nights at a cottage at Mama's fish house. Has anyone stayed there before? If so would you recommend this? I hear the food is amazing, but what about the location? We just want to chill - go to a local bar or something.

Any thoughts?
