SPINOFF to Guest wearing White/Ivory...
How do you feel about another bride 'crashing' your wedding? It coule be a bride sharing the hall...a bride who had a civil ceremony and wants the chance for a reception and felt it was the 'cheap' way out - same guests right???

woman, if you're referring to me, I'm stopping by to say congrats and then be on my merry way....I would never eat any food, or technically 'crash' and hang out the entire night....just say hey, congrats, I'm happy for ya, and then leave.

It was mainly referenced by the other thread where someone posted that a bride had a civil ceremony, and then showed up to her cousin's wedding in a wedding dress....

Sorry woman!! I'm hormonal so I'm extra sensitive!
Ahhhh yes, and I heard of it brought up once about a sweet 16 gown too.
I think it depends on the dress and whether or not this person was actually invited to the wedding in the first place.

Re: SPINOFF to Guest wearing White/Ivory...
If we're talking the kind of 'wedding dress' that is really like a short white dress or what could be considered a 'destination' dress or even a pant suit, then that might not be too bad.If it was a ballgown or something that clearly says 'wedding dress' then yes I would be pissed.
Although I do admit that I think it's more embarrassing for the person who does that. Because you have to figure family members who went to the person's wedding KNOW it was their wedding dress, and would say they must just be seeking attention.
