Bridal Reflections of Carle Place just called

I was fitted for my gown July 16th. I was told that it would be in by the 1st week in November. I've been calling them once a week since then and no dress. Not only was my dress not in but they had an attitude like it was MY fault! They called to tell me that it came in and that I have to come THIS WEEK to check it to make sure it's OK. That's OK with me, but what if it's not the right dress or something is wrong with it?? I certainly don't have another 7 months to wait for another one. I am so stressed out If this dress isn't right I'm beating $3000 out of someone in that salon. The NERVE.......

That is terrible!! They have a lot of nerve getting an attitude with you. Unbelieveable.

Don't worry. If there's something wrong, BR will do whatever they can to fix it. If they need to order a new dress, they'll pay for the rush fee since it isn't your fault. It's better to check now since you still have a lot of time. I'm sure everything will be fine. When I was there for one of my fittings, they were doing everything possible for a MOG (she had problems with the dress right before her son's wedding). There are things I don't like about them, but they usually try to fix any problems that arise.

There was a post on the brides helping brides last week about Bridal Reflections and their attitudes. From what I understand because they are so popular they say they don't need good customer service. they already have three reports on the BBB, maybe there should be more.

I am sorry you are having a hard time.

I have gotten my dress and headpiece at BR in Carle Place. My BP got their dresses there as well. We all had rather pleasant experiences. I venture to say that almost every shop has their share of unhappy brides. Lets hope they rectify the issue.

They have been getting a lot of bad reviews lately. I tried on gowns there (fab Stephen Yearick and a few others) and had a pleasant experience with Michelle but I did not end up ordering.
