How much deposit for DJ & Photographer?

I am going to start hunting for DJ's and Photographers. How much deposit does each usually require to lock it in?

I paid $500 to hold the date and a total of 2/3 has to be paid by one month before the wedding and then the remaining 1/3 when we pick up our proofs.

My package is costing $5500 and i had to leave $500 as a deposit that was at Proline studios

I put down 1/3 for the photographer and just $100 down for the DJ.
