Re: Valentine's Day
Nada....we can't really afford to give anything this year for a number of reasons.1. We have a hall payment due tomorrow
2. I have a baby shower on the 4th
3. We have rent due on the 15th.
4. We have a wedding on the 18th.
5. His birthday is on the 24th.
So needless to say, money is pretty tight this month!!

We're gonna stay in this year and not do gifts. We need to save all of our money for the wedding!

same for us
FH actually volunteered to cook me dinner and dessert for the first time ever so I'm actually more excited than I thought I'd be about staying in for Valentine's Day.

Re: Valentine's Day
We are going to see Billy Joel together and he has reservations for us to eat at The Garden Grill. I'm thinking he has a few other things up his sleeve (roses maybe, candy), he likes to keep a few things secret.I am getting him a Spa Day (one hour facial for sensitive skin b/c it bothers him when he shaves, a 50 minute back massage, and a man's manicure for 30 minutes with paraffin and honey-milk) I'm so excited for him! He works hard so I wanted him to have a relaxing day. I am going to bring a bottle of his fave wine to the Spa before so they can serve him that while he's there. I also got him big gift box set of candy, cookies, brownies (typical V-day stuff) from Mrs. Fields.
I recommend to anyone that needs:
MrsFields.com
EdibleArrangements.com (check out the strawberries dipped in chocolate!!)
CressFlorist.com -men like flowers too!
Everyone have a Happy Valentine's Day!!

Re: Valentine's Day
I'm pretty sure we're not exchanging gifts this year..we figured our gift to each other could be putting money in our savings account for the wedding. We will be heading into the city though and going to the MoMA.

Re: Valentine's Day
I've ordered a box of chocolates for my husband. I am getting flowers along with an assortment of 'practical' gifts that my husband wants me to have (upgraded cell phone, new clock etc). We'll have dinner at the same restaurant we've done dinner for the all of our Valentine's day celebrations.
