September Wedding Color Scheme Question

I am now all of a sudden considering Sept. 8 2006 as a wedding date.

Could I do a fall theme, would it be too early since technically it is still summer til Sept. 22?

What do you girls think?

Thanks.

Re: September Wedding Color Scheme Question

I am 9/2, and my girls are in brown. Not a fall theme, but a fall color!
Do whatever you want!

Re: September Wedding Color Scheme Question

OH..I wouldn't worry about it. You can do any color you want. Go for the Fall look.
I am getting married in May, and our colors are silver, pinks and black? Lol. Where the hell did that come from??? Lol.

Re: September Wedding Color Scheme Question

I think you could go either way for that day. Fall would definitely not seem out of place, but the possibility exists that you could have a day in the high 80s! I think having fall colors for your Bridemaids and flowers etc will totally work, but I personally wouldn't get too carried away with the fall theme (i.e. maple syrup favors and pumpkin place cards etc). Technically, it is still summer.

ETA: Okay, just read your post again and you weren't asking about themes and all that. So the simple answer is YES! I think you could do whatever colors you want.

Re: September Wedding Color Scheme Question

The reason why I asked because I saw a wedding that had coasters for a favor when we were looking at places and thought that was a good idea and was looking at different coasters and they have leaf ones with the tag that said fall in love and I fell in love with that idea.

So my theme would just be like fall color flowers, bridesmaid dresses and like leaves on the table maybe. Nothing pumpkin or halloween related. I hate halloween.

Hmmm, I personally wouldn't do the whole 'fall in love' or leaf thing since it's not actually fall, but that's just me. If you really want to do it though, go for it, it's only like two weeks away at that point anyway. And lots of people consider Labor Day weekend the end of summer anyway.

We're doing a deep shade of red & silver at our wedding for a romantic theme. As for the flowers. Mine boquet will be a full of red rose w/baby breath. The girls will have either yellow or orange or a mix of it with their's. This is there BM dress: Bridemaids Dress
