Duet Brides/ Photography$$

Would any Duet brides mind letting me know how much they are paying and what they are getting? I thought they would be a bit less expensive than others but was quoted over $5500 for photo & video. Does that seem like a decent price?

$5000 no parent albums which i am actually a bit aggravated with, i may talk to them about that i got 2 photographer for 11 hours, and a designer coffee table album and the videographer for 11 hours...i booked last month, their prices have definately gone up, i liked them tho because their work is so beautiful, 2 photographers, and 600 proof minimum guarantee....im peeved about the parent albums tho

I am paying 4700 even for 12 hours of photography and videography with parent albums and dvds and an engagement shoot!!

We're paying $4800 (final price w/ tax included) for our album, 2 parents albums, 2 photographers & 1 videographer for 12 hours i think. Engagement shoot, about 125 thank yous and some extra prints. We really liked their work but a main reason we chose them was the price. They definitely negotiate so you should try to talk them down a little. They didn't even have the shape album we want (horizontal rectangle) and they are getting it for us & put it in our contract... just ask!!

most of these girls probably booked before their prices went up again. but it couldnt hurt to ask.

wow i'm happy now that I didn't go with them, their price def did go up. When I went to see them it was in the 3-4000 range but that was in 05. I booked somwhere else and got a great deal, i'm paying 5900 but I am getting everything I wanted including parent albums and much more.

Duet prices are going up becuase they are improving their equipment, albums and much more. I think this is a good thing.....
You can't knock them for that....

They are really good and could ONLY get better.



I am trully happy with them....

At Franklin Square Photographer their starting package is 6,000. You get 2 photographers and 2 videographers. I thought Duet was a lot less expensive.

I chose the 2005 package plus they threw in some freebies for me, I think I am paying around 5500 for photo and video

I think the prices went up for 2006. Photo and video was under $5,000 when I went in Oct 2005. I'm getting just the photo package for under $4,000, 12 hours, parent albums, 2 photogrpahers, thank you cards, pics on dvd, special effects and all that stuff.

I'm sure ADA's prices went up for 2006 too, they all do.

WOW... I think Duet is definitely going up.... a lot of you girls must have booked much earlier. FH and I went today (2/4/06) and he quoted us about $4700 for photo (NO parent albums!!!!) and video. After talking with him, he said he would add 3 8 x 10's and a wall portrait, but that was part of the original package. ALso, in my opinion, I wasn't crazy about the video... we liked another videographer's work better and we just didn't feel we were getting a good deal photopgraphy wise so we are not going with them. their photography was beautiful though so congrats to those of you that got a much better deal earlier.
