I stayed here when I was in Positano, and it was wonderful.

Re: Help with Amalfi Coast Hotel

We stayed at Poseidon in Positano and Palazzo Sasso in Ravello. Both were awesome! Palazzo Sasso service was out of this world!

Re: Help with Amalfi Coast Hotel

I had lived in Rome a few years ago, but I was lucky enough to visit the Amalfi Coast twice.

I stayed at a Le Sirenuse Hotel in Positano, and it was awesome. Is there a reason why you don't want to go there?

The other time I stayed at a friend's Villa in Sorrento. I knew someone who stayed at MichaelAngelo in Sorrento and they loved it.

It is so beautiful there, you and your FH will love it!

Re: Help with Amalfi Coast Hotel

You're going there on your honeymoon in Sept? We were thinking about it - wasn't sure if it would be too cool, what the beaches are like, what it is like overall (we don't want to be sightseeing the whole time, but want stuff to do and see), and if it's super $$$$$$$....I'd love to hear your input...sorry I don't have any help on hotels.

Re: Help with Amalfi Coast Hotel

My friend honeymooned there in late Sept a year ago and she had the most beautiful weather...was able to swim and lay out and stuff. But I think it's the start of cool weather - so she may have just gotten lucky...not really sure.

Re: Help with Amalfi Coast Hotel

Thank you ladies! I am putting your ideas into play as we speak! I would have loved Le Sirenuse or Il Furore but the rates were a bit more than what we wanted to spend on a suite for 6 days. We're also doing Tuscany and Venice so we're trying to be good. Can't wait though!

We're going to do Amalfi as the first leg of our trip,
(Sept 10 - 16) so the weather should still be warm as it is the tail end of their Summer. I'll send you FM from home on the info I have so far!
