New to Board

Hi Ladies!
I'm new to these boards and just wanted to introduce myself!
Nick and I are getting married 10/7/07 and I just wanted to get a general idea of what we should have done already. We booked the church and reception, but that's it. As I look thru other people's profiles, I've noticed that some of you have so much stuff done already. We were going to start booking stuff this Fall. Do you think that the prices will vary a lot if we wait longer?

Welcome Valarie! I think the prices for 2006 are set. But you may have a problem getting the vendors you want. You should be fine though!

Most vendors will probably raise prices again starting in January 2007. So, book in 2006 to get a better price. Also, some vendors will give you a better price for booking so early

I only have my hall booked as well, but do have appt's set up for the major vendors (DJ and Photo).

Welcome. And I'm sure you will enjoy your journey with us. I have found everyone here to be just amazing! I too only booked the church and hall, and trust me I know it can be a bit overwhelming talking to some that have everything done already, but remember we still have time. The prices may go up a bit, but I dont think that much
