What are your guests going to do for the ___ hours between ceremony and ch?

Our venues are so far east, that it really is impossible for anyone to go home for the 2 hours in between. Atlantica will serve lemonade and iced tea in a small room prior to cocktail hour for guests to hang out there, but I cant imagine how terribly boring that would be. Anyone offering suggestions to guests? Should I look up some fun things to do to kill time?

I think they are just going back to the hotel or some of our friends may go to a bar for a few drinks.

Re: What are your guests going to do for the ___ hours between ceremony and ch?

The guests who go to the church will be invited back to my parents house (less than 1 minute away from the church) for the time inbetween. They will probably only be there about an hour. My mom may have coffee and cookies or something like that...don't want anyone getting full before the CH!

they are going back to my parents house.

if you have blocked rooms in a hotel.... you could ask the hotel to hold a small reception for your guest for a couple of hours... with coffee, tea, drinks... some snacks... enough to hold them over.

I kind of feel the same way. They can check into the hotel if they've booked a room. If not whatever. I would deal with it and not complain. I actually like having time in between so I don't have to get dresses up for the church.

Re: What are your guests going to do for the ___ hours between ceremony and ch?

I went to a wedding out east for the church and RH and it made no sense for a lot of our family members to drive back home and the back out east for the RH, so we went to, I believe it was called the Holiday Inn, and they had a lounge area that we sat and they had little appitizers and drinks for everyone. It was great!! I am not sure of the name of the place (I think it was the Holiday Inn, but whatever it was, it was about 2 minutes from Tanger).

My mom will be having people over the house for who ever wants to come over in between the church and the RH.

Re: What are your guests going to do for the ___ hours between ceremony and ch?

My parents are opening up our house as an 'in between' since we live close to the hall. My aunt will help us out with that, while we go for pictures after the ceremony.

Included in our package the hall has a lounge with open bar so our guest can go there right after the ceremony or they can go to their hotels if they are from OOT.
