garter question

im not doing to bo-k toss are removing the garter
am i still supposed to wear the garter?

i know it might sound silly but im confused

I'm not tossing it, but I had one custom made for FH so I'm going to wear it to show it to him. But it will probably come off when the reception starts.

I am not doing it either and I am not wearing it wither. My mother and I have been going rounds about this and she even went out and bought me one to wear. She thinks that it is tradition and that I have to do it. I think that I will conveiently forget it at home that day..oops...

it's totally up to you if you want to wear it. if you will be comfortable doing so, go for it

I am not doing either but I am wearing a garter...It is tradition plus it is a Yankee one, so FH will be surprised that night!!!!

i'm not doing the garter toss or the bo-k toss... just not my thing...

and i didn't want to wear a garter at all and my FH whined, 'it's traditional and good luck to wear one and i want to see it....'

so...if your FH is traditional or oldschool like mine, i'd just get one, put it on.... maybe take it off for a while...but put it back on when you two are alone!

I am not doing a toss, but I am wearing one, it is my something old and blue.
It was my mom's and my sister wore it for her wedding also.

Totally up to you! You could always wear one and have it a surprise for your FH on the wedding night!

hmmm.. good question. we aren't doing the toss, but I wanted to get a cardinals one (FHs fav. baseball team) for him... maybe we can do a private garter removal in the bridal suite. Although that might give him some ideas- and there was a post going aroudn about that last week!!
