No way. I never once even considered getting white.
I feel much better in ivory and I love my dress!

ok girls i feel better... i thought my gown was too dark but i relize i am pale, and it looks so good on me... its in my community album.. i needed some other advice

i think it is the lace over it and the aplicay that makes me think it is... i feel better now

I am nervous about it not being white because I couldn't see the dress in ivory when I ordered it. but I think there isn't much of a huge difference. The ivory just isn't as bright. I am always afraid it will look off white. You know??

No, I love my ivory dress. I tried the same dress in diamond white at another dress shop and it just didn't feel right.

I could understand why you might be, because I was nervous at first....but i realized that my skin is very pale so there is no question it will look better on me than white...plus, no one will even notice it is ivory.

My sample was ivory so I knew I liked it, but after my doubts I went back to the store, tried it on again and knew I made the right decision. I just didn' t look as pretty in a white one

Don't worry! Try it on again (or when you get it) Ivory is still pretty white.

Same. I looked so washed out in white. The sample of my dress was ivory so I'm glad I got to see what it looked like before I ordered it.

I wore an Ivory gown on my wedding day and I love it so much. The color is so warm and it compliments my skin tone so much.

I just looked at the pic, your dress is beautiful and not too dark at all! I'm the same as the others that posted, too pale for a white dress, ivory looks better on me.

Definitely not - I was a bit nervous when I ordered it bc I wasn't able to see my gown in ivory, but the saleslady assured me that if I wasn't happy with the color I could reorder it in white. Needless to say, when I tried on my dress in ivory I was so happy with the decision I made...although it is a subtle difference, it makes such a difference with my skin color - I am olive and white was just too much for me - esp. since I will be getting married with a tan.

Absolutely not. I loved that it was ivory. White just would not have looked good on me.

I have to agree with the other ladies, white just wouldn't have looked as good on me, the ivory was def. the best choice!
