What is the NYS Law about getting your deposit back from the hall?
Not for me..for a friend. I'm staying where I am baby!!

First, it's a suffolk county law so if she is in nassau it doesn't apply. It says that if you cancel more then 6 months in advance it is assumed the hall can rebook and you get your whole deposit back minus $100. If it is less then 6 months then you only get your deposit if they rebook. I'm pretty sure thats what it says because I almost had to do it
