I need serious HELP!!!

I just got engaged three days ago. Yay!!! But Im already overwelmed and I dont really know where to begin. This is a second marraige for both of us and I havent got a clue as to what I should be planning for first. Anyone have any ideas???

try not to get stressed...definately get going on ceremony site(church or wherever) and hall, and try to enjoy, after them comes photo,video,dj etc...are you looking for a big wedding or small? maybe we can help you narrow it down

Congrats and welcome. The beginning is overwhelming, but once you get started in the planning things should calm down a bit.

Congratulations!!!

Most people start with the reception hall and/or church if you decide to do have the ceremony there. Then after the hall is booked start looking at vendors, shop around. They book quickly so I would start soon. Good luck, welcome this site is awsome.

you have time to get everything in order
just book your major vendors 1st

Welcome!!!

You sound so stressed already. Don't worry about a thing, it will all come together. This is such a great time, you really should enjoy every minute of it. I have not been overwhelmed once yet and I love the shopping around and talking things over with FH about our wedding day. I am sure I will stress out closer to the date, but right now everyday has been amazing!

Good luck with everything, and remember we are all here to help you! You will get some great ideas on this site!

Just curious - what did you do the 1st time around? I always figured 2nd timers would be so relaxed because they know what needs to be done - this is my FH's 2nd wedding, and he just seems to know what to do for this one...

Congrats! and welcome!

Start with the church and the hall first. Those are the two most important things to do and they book the quickest!
I did the church first, then the hall.

It is overwhelming at first but if you take things slow and start with the basics, like a date, hall and church, the rest can fall into place around it.

I was overwhelmed at first but then I just started doing things little by litte and now its fun :)

Unfortunately my Mom passed away 1 month before my first wedding. She was a great help in the planning of wedding #1 because I was only 19 years old and didn't know sqat.

Now Im 28 and in love with my best friend of 12 years. It feels like wedding #1 was a trial run and we want everything to be perfect because we have a fairytale perfect love.
