WESTBURY MANOR brides, please come in

Have any of you had or will you be having Lorena as your maitre'd? We were supposed to have Raul - we met him and requested him back in August. On Monday they told us we would have Lorena. I have never met her and can't find any past reviews that mention her.

I am sure it is fine - but it is just unsettling to have something changed up on you at the LAST minute. I am just looking for any feedback or comments to hopefully settle my nervousness about this.
Has anyone met her???

No, I have never heard of Lorena or Raul. How do you know who your maitr'd is? When did they tell you? I have no idea who mine is!!

I didn't find out who mine was until the day of my wedding...and I didn't really like him much, but his name was definitely not Lorena so you'll probably be just fine. I remember someone posting great things about about Raul though.

ETA: I don't remember ever reading a negative review of a WM maitre'd (sp?) in the past if that helps you feel better (and I remember most of what I read, especially about WM).

We were blessed to have Raul. He was wonderful. We requested him at our menu appt and were told it was not guaranteed, but our DOC made sure we got him and we did. When we went in for our final payment we met with him and he started immediately!

I've never heard of Lorena. Maybe she's new?

I only met one Banquet Mgr. there who wasn't all with it and he thankfully is no longer with them.

I found one bride's review who mentioned a bridal attendant named Lorena - the review was from awhile ago.
But the BM Maureen who met with us said that this Lorena was a head maitre'd. I am disappointed to not have Raul, I am sure it will be fine, but it makes me nervous.
