ME! I am! (LOVE THAT CHURCH... so bright).Anyway, I am using the organist and the soloist. They're both SO good! You have to pay for them anyway, so you might as well use them.
I'm trying to find an inexpensive way to add violins and a cello. What else do you need to know?

Re: Is anyone getting married at St. Edwards Church in Syosset ?
Father Tom is doing my ceremony. He's a REALLY nice guy. I just saw him at mass on Sunday, and I spoke to the music people, too. My only concern is the fact that the doors are glass all along the back, so there's no where for the bride to hide before the grand entrance. But, I might set up a white room divider to try to solve that problem (a lot of girls on this site have been very helpful in finding me sites to buy one!). I do have a few songs that I DEFINITELY want...Pachelbel Canon in D
Bongiorno Principesa (from Life is Beautiful)
Here Comes the Bride
You Raise Me Up (Josh Groban) - their soloist can pull this off. I think we have to pay extra for the guy I want, though. Ken Olef, or something, is his name.
I'm so excited to meet a fellow St. Edward's bride! Are you having a full mass? Go to a Sunday mass at 11:30... you'll see that the organist is good. Their choir is excellent, too. They gave me chills on Sunday!

Are you from Syosset? Is that why you are getting married there?

No I'm not from there, my wedding planner told me about St.Edwards and when I met with father Thomas I really felt comfortable, and thats the closes catholic church to my hall (fox Hollow) I dident want people to have to drive so far.
