valentine's day dinner surprise

so im working on a romantic setting for valentine's dinner. i did a trial run of my table setting and i feel like it needs more 'oomph'. ( im a dork i know, but i just want our first married Vday to be special!) Since we all have already done or are in the process of creating centerpieces for our weddings, do you ladies have any suggestions for a classy, romantic centerpiece? thanks! im trying to incorporate candles and roses.

also...what should i cook??!!! im thinking some kind of pasta dish. any suggestions?

You can put a lot of various pillar candles, different heights, all the same color in the middle of the table with rose petals sprinkled around. That way you don't need any lights!

I just love that idea! How romantic!! Especially if you use scented candles like Vanilla & Strawberry or Vanilla & Cinnamon YUMMMMM!
