Photographer Tip - Should it be given on the day of
or after when the pictures are received???

We plan to tip after we get the photos (and video too).

We plan to tip both photo and video the day of the wedding

Yes we tipped all our vendors including the photographer and videographer on the day of our wedding.

I did not think that a gratuity was warranted. I am already paying alot of money for both. But if I did it would after I see the final product.

Everyone got tipped the day of the wedding. It was a thank you for a job well done. It wasn't large just a token.Now if they really screwed up at the wedding, then that's a different story.

I am planning on given my vendors their tips the day of the wedding because that is for them, not the company. You pay for your pictures when you pick them up, but your photographer should get a tip for the job he did the day of the wedding.

we just did all the tip envelopes last week. I am not tipping the video, photographer or DJ..they are all the owners of the comapny...any help they are brining with them, like the percussioon guy, and second photographer I AM tiiping..is this right?

Forgot to note that our photo/video are the owners. We plan to tip assistants the day of the wedding.

yes, that's what i've been told. if they own their business, no tip.... any of their asst.'s should get something.

That is the way I'm planning on doing it, although I will have some extra $$ in the event I feel a vendor/owner went above and beyond what the contracted services were, because extraordinary service deserves to be recognized with a little more than just a rave review here.
