Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

BB&B hands down. Better selection and awesome policies (accepts competitor's coupon's, their 20% coupons, great return policy).

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

I registered at Macy's for out of town guests. I figured there is a Macy's everywhere and everyone knows Macys. BUT that being said BBB has a lot better selection.

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

I registered at Macy's, Linen & Things (should have done BB&B instead, and might switch), Fortunoffs and Williams-Sonoma (there is one thing that FH desperately wants and that is the only store that carries it ), so I 'found' other stuff there to register for.

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

BB&B
I find it's got more things that I'll use on a daily basis, plus I think Macy's sometimes charges higher prices and their products lack the quality that justifies that.

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

BBB. We did not have a good experience registering at Macys. They didn't have a great selection and the people in the various departments weren't very helpful. The people at BBB were so helpful, and the selection was great. They also have the best return policy (cash back, can return up to 2 years after the wedding, etc). BBB also constantly mails out 20% off coupons which is good for people buying you gifts.

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

I am registered at Fortunoff now and started Macy's but we had such a hard time finding stuff..... so I think BBB would be the better option. They are pretty much everywhere too.

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

We are registered at both...BBB is definitely better!! Better selection, better prices, and better policies. Also, a lot of the things on my Macy's registry became unavailable. I almost got rid of the whole Macy's registry, except we just chose luggage that is a Macy's exclusive.

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

I am registered at both, but so far I prefer BBB. They have a better selection and the prices are better. I am using Macy's b/c many family members love to shop their and normally, only shop there.

i love BBB. Macy's registry fluctuates to much with the prices. I dont like their cust. serv. as much either.

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

here is consumer's report reviews on both:

Macy's
The return policy is rather restrictive: Registry items may be returned, but only for store credit; no refunds are given. $6 for gift-wrapping.

Bed Bath & Beyond
Bed, Bath & Beyond has a very good privacy policy, as well as an excellent return policy: Merchandise may be returned for a credit or refund, and prepaid return shipping is provided. Complimentary gift-wrapping.

Re: Bed BAth & Beyond vs. MACY's

I'm doing both just because I found bedding I liked at Macys so I'll only be registering for that and maybe my towels there. Otherwise you can't beat BB&B.
