would you find a new hairstylist if....(kinda long)

hi girls! so i just wanted to get some opinions...i've had the same hairdresser for years and she is the only one who's been able to cut my hair without me leaving sobbing and hysterical. I trust her completely and she always does a beautiful job w/o me even having to tell her what I want.
Anyhoo, we were talking about updo's for my wedding, I personally HATE my hair up bc I have a round face and feel like it makes my face look fat, so I was thinking of doing a 1/2 up, 1/2 down 'do, with soft curls & extensions (bc my hair is fine and ultra thin). She REFUSES to put extensions in my hair bc she says it'll damage my hair and too much will end up falling out, and she insists I do a full up-do bc I'm having an outdoor ceremonly in Aug and she thinks it'll be too hot.
I understand all that and appreciate that she's looking out for me, but it's my day, and I don't want to feel paranoid all day that my head looks like a damn basketball! Would you guys go w/someone that will do what you wanted or would you trust your stylist?

I trust my stylist to cut my hair, but not to style my hair (ie: up do)

That being said, I got extensions, and my hair stylist is attaching wig-clips for the day of that will not cause any damage to my hair.

ETA: It's your day, get your hair done your way. I also have a very round head, and refused to do my hair all up.

I say go with some else it's very important that you feel comfortable on your wedding day.

PS: I'm with you I am not a fan of up do's on me.
