rehearsal dinner: Invite wording/who's paying?

anyone out there have any sample wording that they've used, or should it be pretty straightforward?

here's what i have so far:

Please join us at the rehearsal dinner for
Gina & Vince

Saturday March 25th, 2006
3pm
blah, blah, blah.

If the groom's father is paying for it, did you put that on the invite?
(my future FIL hasnt told us that he's paying for ours, but i've got to get the invites ready to send out--nice, right?)
