What are you doing with your Hair Color on your Wedding??

RIght now I am a brunette but for the summer I usually get alot of highlights...I have NO idea whether or not to color my hair for the wedding....I am worried how it will photograph! What are you girls doing? Also can anyone recommend a REALLY good colorist?

I am just keeping my hair the way it is...I had wanted it blonder but my colorist said there was no way he was doing anything prior to my wedding

i am going to stick with my typical hair color. i am brunette and get golden blonde highlights. the highlights go really well with my headpiece. most importantly though, i don't want to do anything drastic b/c i want to look like me!

I get highlights every three months so I will just continue to that making sure that I get my last touch-up appx 3-4 weeks before the wedding...

going back to my natural dark color....no highlights. i just think the tiara will look pretty set against dark hair...JMO

Thats an old look that I am going back to AFTER the wedding. If I did it now, Id not have enough hair to affix my veil and headpiece to!

I'm an @ss, but I do love that look. I can't wait to get married so I can go back to changing my hair again....UGH.....I haven't dyed it so I can keep it healthy..

Sticking to my chocolate brown single process from now til after the wedding. My hairstylist is giving me an extra glaze or two in between so the hair is nice and shiny for the big day.

Sticking with my brunette hair...When I did my hair trial, I loved the look of everything against my hair tone...Actually doing a touchup the week before the wedding

I don't know what to do either. I don't know if I should go a little blonder with my highlights or what. And to top it all off my hairdresser will be on maternity leave when I need my final touch up before the wedding. Just another added stress that I needed.

I go from platinum blonde to black. I was blonde for about 7 years and went black this summer. I am going to leave it dark for the wedding (on a Sunday), then Monday (my stylist said she'd come in to do it) dye it blonde for our honeymoon (we leave Tuesday). I was wondering if anyone else does drastic color changes.

I went back to my natural color for the winter, brown w/auburn highlights but I'll probably get a few warmer highlights before the wedding, make it have a bit more dimension.

I'll keep it dark brown until after the wedding, then I'll go back to the dark blonde highlights / caramel brown hair that I usually have in the summer. And I will cut it back to either right under my ears or shoulder length!!

I'm keeping my hair it's natural brown color for the wedding. I sometimes get highlights in the summer, but I just want to be the real me for the wedding and my hair is very healthy and shiny when it's not dyed.

I tend to change my color, but I keep it for a year or two bfore changing. When FH and I met, I was blonde (by hilights), then I later went red, then most recentl went brown (almost my natural color). Then after looking thru some old pics from when we first met, FH (and MANY others) said he lissed my blonde hair. So, I went to my hair girl and we did hilights, half a head.

She set out my hilight schedule for now to the wedding. She said to obtain the look I had, I would come in April for full head and then 1 week before the wedding again for full head.

Depends on the look you want. If you want hilights, speak with your stylist on the plan based on your wedding date. Work backwards from the wedding to find out the optimum hilighting times.

I got highlights 6 months ago (very subtle) and have been maintaining them...I wanted to brighten up the face....I am pretty sure I'll cover them up with semi-permanent color after the wedding though, it's pricey to keep them!
