Saturday weddings...taking off on Friday?
I just put in my vacation days for my wedding. I included the Friday before and my HM. Who else is taking off the Friday before your wedding?

I am going to.
My bridal party and I are staying at a hotel that night and getting ready there. There is no way in hell I would be able to work the day before.

I am taking Thursday & Friday & 2 1/2 weeks after that. I will be out of work starting 6/8/06 & returning 6/28/06.....they don't know it yet that I am taking 3 weeks, but I am doing it anyway!!

I worked the friday before my sat. evening wedding, and it was a mistake - I couldn't concentrate. My co-workers took me out to lunch, and I just sort of daydreamed the rest of the day, and left early.

I am getting married the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so I will be off that Thursday (Thanksgiving) and Friday (and what is great is I don't have to use a vacation day for those dates), and I will be off for 3 weeks after my wedding. They don't know yet, and I am sure they will flip, but oh well. I can't wait to go on my HM

I am getting married on a Friday & my last day of work is the 28th of March (Tuesday)
Our RD is the Wednesday before the wedding & Thursday I will be running around getting my gown & nails done...Plus I feel I will need time to relax & just enjoy the whole thing!! so if you can take the time, take it!!!

I am getting married on a Sunday -- and still took off that Friday. You never know...better to be safe than sorry. And if all I do is relax, it will be well worth it!

I will be taking Friday off because I can't imagine being at work trying to keep busy when I know there's 1000 things to do especially 24 hours before the wedding
