Question for Jewish Brides

I was quoted $3.50 for a kippah. Is this the average cost of one? Can you recommend a place to get them for less? TIA

Re: Question for Jewish Brides

try zion judica (I think I spelled it wrong) we got them for about $1.25 each and they were real nice

ETA: They are also located in Brooklyn, you could probably go to their store as well. We also got our ketubah from them, very nice and very inexpensive!

Re: Question for Jewish Brides

it depends upon the type of yarmulke, but to me that is a LOT.

We got ours from yarmulkes.com. They were slightly over a dollar a piece for the satin ones and about 2.25 for suede.

try weinfelds and weinstock also. we have used both (our wedding and bar/bat mitzvahs and the quality was great).

Re: Question for Jewish Brides

If you have the time, try going to Religous stores in religous neighborhoods of Brooklyn, Queens, etc. We live in Brooklyn and went to Midwood (forgot the name) and went into this place where I was the only woman, and out of respect I didn't hold DH (then FH's) hand. BUT, we got nice plain santiny black ones for 35 Cents each!!!!!!

Re: Question for Jewish Brides

That's alot! Try www.skullcap.com or yarmulkes.com. Also, some temples have connections for buying them.
